Honestly, I would try a few more Local Bike Shops, even if you have to travel a bit. Shoes vary grtaley in their geometry, and it's relatively easy to end up with a pair that doesn't fit well. At least try them on at the shop, and then if the price differential is huge, consider getting them online.if you can't find what you want online at Perf or Nashbar, try REI.
